Sibersong’s I am Jinx

Sire:  Kelim’s Dodge Viper

Dam: Kelim-Thesewood’s Sibersong Magik

DOB: October 27, 2008

Position: Team/ Leader in training

Status: Intact

Jinx is a very pretty girl.  She is a little shy and submissive with people.  She is not a super confident dog, but she works well.  As a puppy she was yappy and oh, so difficult to catch!  With maturity, she has gotten much calmer, quieter.  She has also learned to go to her kennel, or me,  when asked to.  If you take a few minutes to get to know her, she is very sweet.  She has had some time up front, but tends to work better in team.  I think she is built beautifully, and she will be considered for future breeding.

Secondwind’s Shiver of Koveda

Sire: Chlout’s Streak of Velikaya

Dam: Chlout’s Zunie of Velikaya

DOB: July, 21, 2010

Position: Puppy

Status: intact

Shiver is the perpetual bouncing ball, nothing like her 1/2 sister Blossom.  This dog never sits still, is always go, go, go.  I don’t think I have ever seen her sleep!  It makes me a little nuts sometimes, but I think that is going to translate into amazing things in harness.  Her early puppy runs have been a good indication of that.

Aniscar’s Who’s Your Sugar Daddy

Sire: Kiana’s Diesel of Aniscar

Dam: Ka-Bi’s Pussy Willow

DOB: July 11, 2008

Position: Leader

Status: Intact

Trasher was a new addition to the kennel in December 2010.  She is a sweet dog with plenty of Siberian mischief twinkling in those little eyes.  She is small, but one heck of a worker.  She is super smart and is becoming one of my stronger leaders.  Trash-Dog is awesome!

Koveda’s Black Mamba

DOB: April 9, 2010

Sire: Northrunner’s Schumacher

Dam: Chlout’s Blossom of Velikaya

Position: Puppy

Mamba is the most reserved of the Schu X Bloss kids, but that doesn’t make her shy.  She is the smallest girl, but she talks big.

Koveda’s Sofie Fatale

DOB: April 9, 2010

Sire: Northrunner’s Schumacher

Dam: Chlout’s Blossom of Velikaya

Position: Puppy

Sofie is the wildest puppy in the litter.  She looks a lot like her big sister Critter and Momma Blossom, but her personality is much more like her Daddy Schu!

Anju’s After Midnight

“Burt”

DOB: 12/29/04

Sire:  Kelim’s Nitro of Anju

Dam: Barking Brooks Nushka of Anju

Position: Leader

Status: intact female

Likes: Being Tough

Dislikes: Poor Ashes.

Accomplishments: 2008 Mushing Boot Camp

Burtie is a dog I would call one of my main leaders. The best way to describe her is tough. She is not a dog anyone messes with in the yard. She is the only dog that can live kenneled with pushy Mani and not turn into a nervous wreck. She is sweet and cuddly with people, and gets along with her team mates, but she isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves when someone is out of line or a job needs doin’. She is one of my hardest, and most reliable workers.

Secondwind’s Salute

“Lute”

DOB: 5/26/2006

Sire: Larake’s Bristol Bay Ember

Dam: Chlout’s Digger of Nome

Position: Leader

Status: Intact Female

Likes: Chilly is her best bud

Dislikes: Puppies

Salute is a quirky girl. She is happy to see me, bouncing around and smiling with her ears down. She seems to have a real drive to do the right thing, and she keeps on trying.  She has become quite the little leader, one of my best.  On hills she is often jumping into her harness, trying to get her team mates going faster, faster!  I have hopes of her contributing offspring to the kennel in the future.

Aniscar’s Coyote Koveda

DOB: July 4, 2009

Sire: Aniscar’s Organic Coal

Dam: Chlout’s Blossom of Velikaya

Position: Team, Leader in training

Status: Spayed Female

Likes: Picking on her younger siblings

Dislikes: Bananas

Critter is pretty much perfect 🙂  The one thing we need to work on is going BONKERS at hook up.  That’s a training goal for 2011 winter!  I also think she is going to be one heck of a leader, this girl has tons of drive to get down the trail.

Chlout’s Blossom of Velikaya

Born: June 12, 2007

Dam: Chlout’s Quick of Velikaya

Sire: Chlout’s Streak of Velikaya

Gender: Intact Female

Coat: Tan/ White

Position: Leader

Blossom came to me as a two year old.  She is one of my most consistent, hard working dogs.  She picked up leading and her commands quickly, and her confidence level seems to keep growing.  I love her very sweet, happy personality.  She is just an easy, enjoyable dog to have in the kennel and on the team.  I don’t usually play the favorites game, but I would have to say she is one of them!

Lara-Ke’s Katmai Ashes

“Ashes”

DOB: 5/27/1998

Sire: Alaskan’s Mageik of Anadyr

Dam: Blackwater’s Cassiar of Larake

Position: Leader (retired)

Status: spayed female

Likes: fresh straw, brushing

Dislikes: getting her ears cleaned

Accomplishments: In her prior home Ash started Iditarod as a 2 year old but was dropped with a sore wrist. I know that she also ran the Jr. Yukon Quest. Ashes thinks obedience is stupid.

Ashes came to me at 5 years. She is co owned with Rob Farley. Ashes was a leader for me and produced one litter for Rob, which is where Osha came from.  She helped me train a bunch of rowdy inexperienced 2 year olds to be sled dogs, and leaders. I hope in breeding on the Larake line that I end up with more dogs like Ashes in my kennel. Ashes is a sweet girl, who has no problems with letting me know with a disgusted look if something is not up to her standards, or if I have insulted her in some way.
